Martin Karori

I help build businesses from the ground up, set up their operations and help them scale. As a start-up junkie I believe businesses power economies and we in Africa have a long way to go in building productive businesses.

I am a Biochemist by training and ventured into project management and business operations by practice and later did my MBA.

I have managed and coordinated both field and non-field activities in organizations with operations in various regions such as the US, UK, East/ West & Southern Africa and South East Asia. I have worked with a variety of partners such as International donor agencies, NGOs, Government agencies, Community based organizations, universities and Private sector players in both corporate and the non-profit engagements.

My specialty is in professional services with global technology companies doing R&D projects in Artificial intelligence and automations. I set up Samasource Delivery Centre in Kenya and worked on several projects with global technology companies. After Samasource i joined Andela Kenya as its Director of Operations and set up the regions first technology campus and its operations.

I am currently the founder and CEO of SkillsHub Africa which aims to build the required competencies for African youth to compete effectively in the emerging workforce.
