Martin Kisuu
Nairobi
Prior to setting up Taxwise Consulting Ltd., I worked at PKF Kenya Ltd as Regional Tax Partner. I have over 15 year’s tax experience in key sectors of EAC economies and have worked very closely with multinationals, local companies, parastatals, donor agencies and NGOs, including Unilever, British American Tobacco (BAT), Barrick Gold, Rwanda Revenue Authority and Uganda Revenue Authority.
I am also an author and reviewer for the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation.
Moreover, I am an alumnus of Strathmore School of Accountancy (SOA) and a current serving member of the Strathmore University Council (SUC). On and individual capacity, I have been featured severally on business news, in feature articles in tax and related magazines and contributes tax articles for local daily newspapers across the region. In short I love all things tax and I'm always on cue to speak on the subject, following Government budget day announcements in the respective East African countries.
If I wasn’t eating, breathing and living tax, I would very well be a farmer.
