Martin Macdonald

Pastor Martin MacDonald has been the Senior Pastor at The City Church in Batavia, New York, since April of 1997. As Senior Pastor, Martin MacDonald leads the church, giving weekly sermons and serving the needs of the church community. Pastor Martin MacDonald was educated at the Pastors School at Phoenix First Assembly in Phoenix, Arizona. Married for 33 years, Pastor Martin MacDonald enjoys spending time with his wife, Patti MacDonald, and their family, which includes their three sons and five grandchildren. Pastor Martin MacDonald is dedicated to his church and the city of Batavia, New York. In 2001, Pastor Martin MacDonald was named the Geneseean of the Year for his great contributions to the Genesee County community and the city of Batavia. In addition to his work in Batavia with The City Church, Pastor Martin MacDonald has also ministered in Brazil, Africa, Costa Rica, and Haiti. Besides his weekly sermons at the church and his work with the congregation, Pastor Martin MacDonald also oversees numerous missions with The City Church. The City Church and Pastor Martin MacDonald run programs involving hospitality, family, young adult ministry, nursing homes, and many other charitable endeavors. In his free time, Pastor Martin MacDonald supports the work of Adopt-A-Block New York. He also enjoys four-wheeling, shopping, and spending time at the beach. Pastor Martin MacDonald is also a member of Lifenet Ministries International. In addition to the Bible, his favorite books include The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, Dream Again, and You Were Made for More. Pastor Martin MacDonald currently resides in Batavia, New York.
