Dr. Martinque "Marti" Jones

Dr. Martinque "Marti" Jones is a therapist, scholar, and evolving professional in the field of counseling psychology. She is currently working at a university in New York conducting research and teaching graduate students in psychology. Her scholarly efforts are concentrated on Black racial/ethnic identity development, identity intersectionality, and best clinical practices with Black collegiate women. Her previous experiences include working in a university counseling center where her focus was to support students as they move through the difficulties inherent within emerging adulthood. Dr. Jones sees her purpose as using her training in counseling psychology to promote wellness among college students through her teaching, mentoring, and advocacy efforts.
