Hi, I'm Robin, and I am The Pattern Tester. I guess I'm not your typical sewing blogger. I don't have a cool retro style, wear funky glasses (although I do wear glasses), and I'm not a stay at home mom. I'm just an introverted, jeans, t-shirt, and ponytail wearing 40 something year old, married, mother of one amazing 27 year old daughter, 3 Pembroke Welsh corgies, and 4 chickens. I was born in the USA, and went from living in sunny Florida while working in corporate America as a software tester, to moving to tropical north Queensland, Australia with my husband, and renting a house on a sugar cane farm. I'm a self taught sewer through the use of blogs, books, Facebook sewing groups, and YouTube videos. I found my passion for sewing late in my life, and now I get to incorporate my past testing expierence with my love of sewing, as a pattern tester.
