I grew up eating vegemite sandwiches and drinking L&P somewhere in New Zealand. My childhood days were spent playing outdoors where I lived on a farm full of animals, although it wasn't a farm.

I studied creative media and photography and I’ve been fortunate to work on some great stories. Spending time with Afghani refugees in Calais. Working in Israel, witnessing firsthand the dramas that have kept Palestine hostile for centuries. South America, Central America, Asia, Europe. Forever in search of great photos and the stories that come with them.

Nowadays I’m still the same freedom-seeker roaming the globe. Only nowadays I’m not alone. Now I have Kirsten to share this freedom with. The Internet as our workspace and from our workspace wherever the destination may be, we work together! Our company is called DesignMonki and we specialize in online and print media. So when we’re not making spectacular photos or writing wild stories we’re designing websites, corporate identities and even flyers for cool surf clubs. Skype as our boardroom, come see us anytime!

For the next couple of years we'll be working on whatever we can to fund our travels and to help others we meet along the way. We want to help the Orangutans in Borneo! We want to help protect the sea turtles that are being threatened by poachers. We want to show some love to the abused elephants of Thailand and we want to help children and their families that don’t have the luxuries we were blessed with.

Providing our services and using our vast network of connections we have made around the globe, we are ready to help others in any way we can.
