Marty Cobb
Dallas, Texas, United States
Hi there..!
My name is Marty Cobb- my Big Girl Name is Martha Anne, but Marty was started by my grandmother, and has just stuck as my nickname.
But you can call me Marty, OR Beautiful Flight Attendant...but that's it!
Humor has always been a part of who I am....my parents said...you better be pretty or smart....so I thought how about funny??
I try to NOT take myself too seriously and making people smile...absolutely makes me happy!
Let me begin by saying welcome to my website. I am so excited to begin a new chapter...and continue this amazing journey that started about a year ago.
It all began with a video...no not that kind of video...a YouTube video...doing my version of the safety speech required before- every- take-off.
And yes, I understand nobody listens to it...so I decided to jazz it up...make that dry, flight, safety information entertaining...fun...and something that would hopefully make passengers smile and you guessed it...actually pay attention to the announcements!
The video received 10 Million views in a week which allowed me to be on the Ellen Show - I cannot tell you how much of a thrill that was!!
It currently has over 21 Million views ...WOW!!
I am blown away everyday and all I can say is THANK YOU for all your love...support & encouragement. I wouldn't be here without you...and I thank God for blessing me beyond measure.
I can only hope to pay it forward and to keep making people smile!!
As a native Texan...and boy-howdy do I love Texas....allow me to share a little bit about me.
I grew up....well not quite grown up...but I am from Lubbock TX where I graduated from Texas Tech University...." Guns Up" ...although something best NOT said on the plane.
I currently live in Dallas and have 3 grown children...and probably like yours....they mean everything to me.
They are truly the best thing I- have- ever- done...and did I mention they are smart and beautiful?!
I began my career as a flight attendant in 2006 with Southwest Airlines...The Love Airline as we call it, and I quickly discovered it was my passion and my calling.
As a single parent...and as all you parents know....is not the easiest job. I tried to do everything possible for my children...I made every mistake possible, and struggled in what seemed every area....but this job saved me in so many ways...
As stressful as life can be at times....I realized by focusing o
