I, Thato Maruma, am a senior student in the University of Johannesburg doing Bachelor of Education majoring in Information and Communication Technology and English. I was born and raised in Marapyane Mpumalanga province where I attended my primary education up until my secondary education to which I matriculated in 2011 and joined the University of Johannesburg in 2013.
As a teacher in training, I have developed much love, passion and expertise in the field of education to which I specialize in the Further Education and Training (FET) sector. Choosing this field, I was not the matter of being desperate of anything but I chose teaching as a career judging from my interpersonal qualities of liking to nurture the young ones and lead them to light that will in future, improve our country and the living conditions of our people.
I believe that education is the corefoundation to solve every single matter affecting development of our country.
