Marut Pattanaik

The name is Marut Pattanaik. I am a hobby photographer, a seeker of knowledge and also, unluckily, an engineering graduate. I love reading comics, following blogs, experimenting with food, travelling, hiking and photographing landscapes and wildlife while I am at it.

As of now, I am hopelessly hunting for a PhD position, after completing my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University with a specialization in Semiconductors and Solid State Devices.

Almost an introvert, am usually found indoors hooked to my laptop experimenting with latest available apps and/or editing photos. Other than all that, love listening to slow music, read just anything that seems good and well, just sleep when not doing anything(hope that actually counts as a hobby).

Beware, ’cause I have also been found acting like a true “nerd”, glued on to my textbooks, at times. Currently residing in Bengaluru, Karnataka where I actually have a semblance of a social life. Being a complete rebel since I can remember, I have a carefree attitude and love to go against anything I feel is wrong.
