Marvin Stottlemire

Marvin Stottlemire has earned a BA in political science from the University of Oregon; a MA and PhD in political science from Rice University; and, a JD from the University Of Kansas School Of Law. He taught political science at Louisiana State University in Shreveport and was the Assistant Director of the University Of Kansas Public Management Center. He is currently Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the University Of Kansas Medical Center. He is a trained mediator and professional facilitator.
In addition to his professional activities, he is an award winning amateur actor and has been a member of LaughLines Improv Comedy Company for 20 years. He founded and is the director of Topeka Civic Theater’s Senior Class, an improv comedy company made up entirely of actors over 50. For more information go to www.laugh2learn.com.
