James Hetterley
James Hetterley is a Marxist theorist, CND member, playwright, poet, and student, who has the book “Thoughts Over Cigarettes and Coffee” published on Amazon Kindle, has had his play “Übermensch” performed at the Oasthouse Theatre, and whose blog posts have also appeared on the “LabourLeft” website, a socialist Labour Party think tank. He also tweets as @marxistpoet. Interested in philosophy and theology, left-wing politics, and queer radicalism, he will be contributing a chapter on his theory of "Pragmatic Socialism" to Labour Left's Second Volume of the Red Book. Currently studying A-Levels in English Language and Literature, Government and Politics, Philosophy and Ethics, and Chemistry, James eventually hopes to go on to study Philosophy at University, and then go into academia. James’s work has also been published elsewhere, and a number of articles can be found on the “LabourLeft” blog. In the 2011 Total Politics Blog Awards, Marxist Drivel was voted Number 41 in the Top 100 Labour Blogs.
