Mary is a native Texan, originating from Coryell County. She brings a strong background in real estate investment, home and business remodeling, and management of both commercial and residential properties. Her experience includes positions as an owner and manager of her own extensive portfolio of 13+ commercial and residential buildings over the past 34 years. Her professional business background and combined lifelong commitment to helping and serving others and the buildings they occupy makes her a great fit for any company involved in acquisitions, selling, renting, or remodeling for increased productivity, sales, occupancy, and curb appeal. Mary enjoys music, the arts, photography, and travel. From Connecticut to Hollywood to Las Vegas. Mary's father J. J. Anzalone founded a successful painting & drywall company in North Hollywood, CA & Las Vegas, NV in the 1950's-1960's. Anzalone & Associates, Inc. Painting and Drywall Decorating Contractors was operated by two brothers (Mary's Dad and her Uncle Johnny). They bid and won several large contracts including dorms at UCLA, a Santa Monica post office, multiple commercial buildings, homes, and schools, and of course they were also called to work for the movie studios from time to time. Her father and his brother (from a large Italian family) were 1st generation born immigrants of Connecticut/NYC and moved to California during the building boom right after WWII. Prior to that, Mary's father worked as a Foreman for GE during the war effort. Her Uncle was a medi-evac para-trooper and his job was to parachute in and triage the wounded. Both men ran their successful LA and Las Vegas businesses and then passed that business ownership to their right hand man, Owen Smith. Affectionately known as "Smitty", Owen ran a very successful business keeping the brothers name. The business has since been sold by Mr. Smith, but still exists as Anzalone & Assoc. in Sylmar, CA. Mary's father was also President of the San Fernando Valley Chapter of Painting and Decorating Contractors (PDCA) Assoc. in 1956 & 1957. He was also a board member of The Boys Club of Clark County, NV having been helped by them as a youth in Connecticut.
