My name is Mary. I graduated my Bachelor of Arts - English Honours in 2013, while was followed by my Bachelor of Education (Primary/Junior) in May 2014.

I am currently on the supply list for my district, and am waiting to become eligible for the LTO list.

Since graduation I have completed a number of AQs including Intermediate English, Special Education Part 1, Reading Part 1, Math Primary/Junior Part 1, Librarianship Part 1, and Kindergarten Part 1.

I am always looking to improve myself through further education, as well as find new experiences, stories, and strategies along the way that will benefit my future students, which is why I am taking this course. As a supply, I find myself in a lot of different classrooms, which is fabulous because I can see a bunch of different teaching styles, resources, etc. but often there is technology involved which I am unfamiliar with, which is never a fun situation. I am hoping to be better prepared in these scenarios, as well as be able to become fluent in current technology so that I am able to use it with the students and best prepare them for their future, which is absolutely a technological one. Technology is no longer the future, it is the present and I want to be on board.
