Mary Castro

Mary T. Castro ‘17 grew up in Chicago and Milwaukee and graduated from Greendale High School earning high honors every year that includes completion of three Advanced Placement classes. She is working for Starbucks Coffee Company, an international business, and applying for a summer internship in Seattle, where the company is based. Castro is finishing her third year in-store on the retail side of the company while pursuing corporate administrative positions, utilizing her outstanding business cost accounting and supply chain knowledge. The District Manager, along with her coworkers, awarded her Partner of the Quarter for her ability to achieve above and beyond standards of minimum qualifications and exceed regular business guidelines. Castro's experience at RE/MAX Real Estate Company advanced her knowledge in the structure of contracts, explaining contractual obligations to clients, and troubleshooting where necessary to resolve problems prior to contract deadlines successfully relating between agents and customers.

Castro is finishing her Global Logistics Management degree to take advantage of opportunities of work abroad and expand her ability to successfully assess operation cost strengths and weaknesses in multinational companies.
