Mary de la Rosa

I am a graduate from the University of Toronto Mississauga currently studying Communications Culture & Information Technology & Psychology. I have graduated this year and would like to potentially go into the general field of Information Technology or Marketing and variate within different areas to see which industries or professions may be more of an interest to me. Although I am also interested in specializing in Telecommunications, Marketing & Advertising as I have quite a few years experience within the field of Telecommunications. I have worked in sales at Wind Mobile for over 2 years, worked for a company based in China called DongGuan In&Out Electronics Co. I also started my own business within the mobile phone industry for a bit and may most likely intend to pursue this venture part-time again in the future after I am ready to invest more time and capital into it. I find that my experience within telecommunications from the ground up from working within the storefront of Wind Mobile as a sales representative to helping establish my own phone and accessory business has allowed me to gain a wider general understanding of the industry.

Within the past couple of months I have recently acquired 2 positions as 1 of the founding members for a new social collaborating network & crowd-funding equity platform. My initial position had consisted of as a social marketer for the external marketing team and then as a quality assurance analyst for the IT (Information Technology) department. I am currently the project manager of the organization in charge of streamlining internal processes between all the departments and acting as a liaison between the departments and our company's chairman. This position was acquired through a shown sense of initiative within the company and growing interest within the company's internal processes in order to increase productivity levels within the company overall. Through my experience within the company, Desiyn Inc. it has allowed for me to gain a general understanding of how a new company develops or operates even as its establishing within a new industry, such as crowd-funding equity.
