I am a teacher, a curriculum development specialist and an author who believes that creative thinking skills should be taught in the classroom. Individuals need to posses creative skills such as inventiveness, empathy, joyfulness and inspiration in order to succeed and promote economic growth and prosperity in the world today.
I became aware of the positive effects of involving students in creative activities when I was teaching at the Graphic arts academy in Pasadena, Ca and when I worked as a coordinator for Human Creativity. I have also worked as a consultant for the National Science Resource Center in Washington DC and have been the presenter in science education conferences. I have received a certificate of inspiration award by the California Institute of Technology, the educator of the year award by RAISE foundation and “the most creative award” at the institute of chemical education at U.C. Berkeley. I have presented my work at several National and International Conferences.
My book "Creative Learning Support Methods" is a practical guide with illustrated examples of lessons, activities and assessment practices designed to teach creative thinking, in all subjects and grades.

"Education" needs to include teaching creative skills in order to prepare successful and happy individuals. Furthermore, creativity is a great motivational tool for "all" students to learn. All learners get involved in the learning process when they are asked to be "creators".
