Mary Adelakun
Author, Youth development Advocate, and Public Health Enthusiast in Lagos, Nigeria
My writing journey began in 2015 and grew into Eniitan RC, a platform that transitioned from a personal blog into an impactful organization between 2020 and 2023. Over the years, I have authored several books (2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023), produced podcast series, and published creative fiction and public health articles across diverse platforms. Alongside writing, I am deeply committed to youth development and advocacy. Through Project Raise and my role at Career4All, I have mentored thousands of young people, equipping them with vocational and personal growth skills that prepare them for the future. My professional background spans Science Laboratory Technology, Medical Aesthetics (massage therapy specialization), and Community/Public Health, giving me a unique perspective that blends science, creativity, and advocacy. This multidisciplinary foundation allows me to approach challenges holistically—whether in writing, mentoring, or leading initiatives. Balancing studies, work, and entrepreneurship has shaped my resilience, especially after the personal loss of my mother. Today, I continue to channel my experiences into meaningful projects that uplift communities, inspire faith, and empower youth.
