I am currently a fourth-year UBC student studying Sociology and Human Geography. I am aiming to take my educational focus and apply it in the fields of Advertising, Marketing and Event Management. I have had opportunities to work with event planning, budgeting, marketing and graphic design. The most noteworthy event I have planned would be La Discotheque, a disco-themed dance party, targeted at First Years Arts Students at UBC. I have also had a chance to work on marketing plans with Scouts Canada to increase volunteers and participants. I have also had the opportunity to work with BCAMA Board on Special Events. At the moment, I hold the position of Director at Research Konnect, a non-profit, student-ran organization aimed to promote research around the globe.
