I manage user-centered design projects and UX research for CommunicateHealth clients. CommunicateHealth's mission is to make health information easier to understand and use. I have influenced stakeholders across government and the private sector including: The VA's National Center for PTSD, CDC, the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, and Harvard Medical School.

The interest I have in people, in their motivations, is genuine. I have a desire to understand what makes people tick — and to create information and experiences that meet their needs (and improve their health!). I employ a wide range of user research methods with diverse audiences. I regularly work with people with limited literacy skills, people with cognitive and functional disabilities, immigrants, and refugees.

I was recently named 30 under 30 by the Society for Public Health Education for my work and commitment in the fields of public health and technology.
