“I’ve never had any brand new instrument in my whole life.” This has been my dream ever since I’ve played saxophone since I was 10 years old and now I am already in my 21 years of my lifetime. I have been playing musical instrument for 11 years and after tons of practicing and working I was able to be the principal saxophone player of the University of Santo Tomas Wind Orchestra and also a soloist player of the Banda 31 Original Inc. I played clarinet during my freshmen year and took up string class methods during my junior year in college. In those experience, I was able to learn the basics of clarinet and violin playing.
But the thing is, in every instrument that I have used were all pre-owned instrument. I never experience being able to use something for the first time that is really meant for me, I was always the second or maybe the third person to use it. I always have this dream and passion to bring the opportunity to other aspiring musicians to have a good quality of instrument with their own preference.
I believe that good quality of instrument really effects the musicians playing. In using hand-me-down instrument, you might encounter difficulties in playing and also the keys of the instruments might need to be changed after some time of using it. You might think that buying a secondhand instruments might be cheaper but in reality, you will also need to repair and condition it once in a while and in reality that may cost you a lot than you expected.
In buying an instrument, you might consider all the aspects and you always deserve the best quality that you can have as much as you can.
