Hi my name is Mary Beth! Creator of My Little House! I love all things rustic, country, modern and décor. Before and after’s are my FAVORITE! Changing something that is out of date to in style is my passion. I find inspiration in rustic barn wood from my daddy’s farm and furniture that needs a modern touch.

Every house has a story so here is mine..

I am a newlywed fresh out of college (yeah, enough said)! My hubby and I made a commitment to this cute little gray house right outside of the city. We purchased it for a good price! Most would call it the “starter home”. Yes, it was indeed. This charming house already had a lot of fresh fixes to it but as soon as we made our way in I knew I had to add some southern charm to it!

It has been a year or so that we have been in My Little House and have already made a lot of changes. I have an eye for thrifty finds that can be transformed into something new! I do not claim to be a pro. In fact…I am very much a newbie. I am blogging to write my journey and help others along the way. I will be able to help you with the how to’s and the how not to’s!
