Marybeth Onyeukwu is an undocumented writer and organizer based in the District of Columbia. Born in Umuahia, Nigeria, she migrated to the United States at the age of two. Her experience within the (im)migrant justice movement reiterated for her the importance of viewing immigration from a racial justice lens. She is a proud member of the Black Immigration Network – an alliance of African-Americans and Black immigrants dedicated to creating tangible change for communities of African descent.
