Mary Bridget Burns

Greater Boston

Mary Bridget Burns is a doctoral student in education, studying at the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. She is interested in improving education for students on the margins of society, due to socioeconomics, linguistics, culture, or geography. She has conducted research on teacher education policies in Hungary and has completed a pilot study of Brazilian immigrants educated in the United States. She has also researched rural education in the United States, and the differences between regions.
