Mary Burkart

Mary Burkart is an instructional designer for Park University in Parkville Missouri. She has a Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology from California State University Monterey Bay. She is also a graduate of the School of Journalism at the University of Kansas. Mary writes poetry, curriculum, and lots of academic papers as a constant student. She has been working as a technical writer for more than 25 years, an instructional designer for more than ten years, and in between, worked as an elementary school teacher. She has only recently started writing creatively. She is also a mother, wife, the attender of the pets including two cats, “Princess” and “Rick,” a Cairn terrier named “Olive,” and a hamster named “Skinny.”
