Mary Byrd

I am a Communication Sciences and Disorders major at the University of Georgia. I aspire to get certified and practice as a speech language pathologist. I am particularly interested in language learning, and hope to further my knowledge of Spanish by working in an environment that allows me to grow and practice my love for language. Language is so essential to everyday life, yet it is often taken for granted. My desire is that by expanding my knowledge base and my communication skills, I can help those who encounter diffculties with self expression due to language barriers or disorders.
