Maryelle has performed stand-up comedy at top NYC comedy clubs and festivals Ladies of Laugher, New York Underground Comedy Festival, Toyota Comedy Festival - New Faces. Maryelle has performed sketch comedy at Caroline's & Comic Bible's "Funny Shorts Film Festival" & "Sketch Off Festival", Caroline's Presents Comic Bible's "Laughter for a Good Cause" and Toyota Comedy Festival. Maryelle Co-Created, Co-Wrote, Co-Produced & Actor in campy sitcom pilot "Diner NYC"; script pilot 2nd runner-up Montreal Comedy Festival's "Just for Pitching". Maryelle is a Performer & Co-Producer of "Underdogma Comedy- under the radar comedy you should be seeing". Maryelle is a trained actress in Meisner Technique, studied at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, improv at UCB and a member of SAG-AFTRA. Just wrapped up acting in a comedic role for sitcom pilot “OPEN HOUSE” & cast in indie feature “Raise Your Kids on Seltzer” to film in May. Maryelle played the role of quirky waitress Jade, series regular, for campy sitcom “Diner NYC, other comedy pilots & indies and Monsterfest "Short Screamers" television promo on AMC Network. Also had a ball playing “Ass Smacked Woman” in Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn produced feature comedy “Staten Island Summer”. You can catch Maryelle performing stand-up around NYC! Maryelle is also having a ball training improv at UCB and loving it!
