I'm a wife, mom and Nana who loves to cook and entertain. I started cooking in my early teens and fell in love with the art of food. I had hoped to one day become a professional chef and then... well, life came along and made other plans for me. But, it's still my passion.

Feeding the people in my life is truly a vehicle for me to show love and to nurture them, both physically and emotionally and seeing a satisfied smile on someone's face after they've taken their first bite of a dish that I've poured my heart and soul into creating and preparing, returns that love to me a thousandfold.

My second passion has always been writing, so in my late forties, I finally decided that it was time to combine the two crafts that I love and I began writing a food blog. The blog and I are a constant work in progress, but it's been a hell of a ride so far and I'd be truly honored to have you come and join me on the journey at Go Ahead... Take A Bite!
