My name is María Carrillo, but most people call me Lupe (because of my middle name Guadalupe). I am originally from Mexico, but due to life circumstances, my family and I had to move to the United States and start a new life. That journey has not been easy, but I am most certainly thankful for the opportunity we were given. I was able to graduate from college and begin a career, while my family is well and happy :)

Currently, I am going back to school to pursue a career in the medical field. I hope to be successful, save money, and go back to the profession that has been my passion since I can remember, teaching. I love nature, music, owls, cookies, and pizza (more than anything in the world… besides my family and my boyfriend lol).
