Mary Grehan is a writer, artist and an arts in health curator who divides her time between Waterford and Dublin.

Her debut novel Love is the Easy Bit was published by Penguin Ireland in 2008. She is a recipient of numerous awards from the Arts Council, Artlinks and Waterford City and County Council, and in 2022 embarked on writing her first play, Feral,which was presented in a rehearsed reading as part of A Little Room residency in Garter Lane Arts Centre.

Mary is a graduate of the National College of Art and Design, University College Dublin and University of Central Lancashire and has been curating arts projects in healthcare settings for most of her career. She curated the National Maternity Hospital’s Centenary Arts Programme, was Director of Tallaght Community Arts Centre and Waterford Healing Arts Trust and is Public Art Curator for Children's Health Ireland. She is a founder member of Arts in Health Co-ordinators Ireland and co-developed www.artsandhealth.ie with Create. She has written and presented widely in the field of Arts in Health. She is also a freelance coach / mentor in her field.
