In my husband's tribe, a woman is called by the name of her firstborn son. Fitting one should get a new name when they get a new world. As in, the world of motherhood-where you never again eat in peace. Or sleep. Where your kiss-count jumps several thousand percentage points per day. A world where you once had heard of Thomas the Train, and now you can name his friends. A world of trying to drive and sip your milkshake out of sight of the toddler because not only are you not into sharing your already depleted milkshake but your driving is about to become remarkably less comfortable, let alone less safe while you contort your right arm to bring straw-to-toddler contact. Don't pretend you haven't done that. Don't judge. Moving on.
To sum up, I have a degree in 2-D art with an illustration dream. I have a husband and two beautiful boys. (and a uterus with plans) I like food, books, conversations. This blog will be about all of that. Pictures included. (not the uterus)
