"Dance - my passion"
Mary is an ardent Salsa dancer who hails from the city of dreams-Mumbai. Trained since 2007 she has been managing Latin Nights for a decade every Wednesday in, Mumbai. Sushi Samba Nights at Shiro Mumbai was one of the most popular Salsa socials in the city for over half a decade, and we saw the same vibes being carried at Fun Republic Social. Now we see the same energy drawn towards AntiSocial, Mumbai every Wednesday Night.
Mary has graced the dance floor with her talent in Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and many other workshops she has also traveled to Puerto Rico, Miami, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Brussels, New York, UAE, UK, USA, France, Portugal, Russia, Asia, and Africa to improvise on dancing. Her artistry and belief in Latin and African dances reflect a sense of gratitude she has for dancing.
She has also taught and performed at various Salsa Congresses in India during her association with Salsa India. She believes in the simple fact that "Once you think you'd like to dance, start doing it.” There's something immensely cool about being part of the dance community. It's a worldwide fraternity and the membership definitely comes with privileges.
Mary formed a dance community known as Latin Twistalong with Derek Spencer a pilot by profession, and a former DJ. The community invites all dancers to share their passion and enthusiasm for all Latin and African dance styles.
She currently teaches regular sessions and workshops in Bachata, Kizomba, and Salsa for dance enthusiasts in Mumbai.
She hosts Latin Social Nights at AntiSocial Mumbai Every Wednesday with DJ Cza (Caesar Lobo)
