Hello! If you're like me and considering living in the mountains, you've come to the right person! I moved here in 2002 and I it is the best decision I ever made!

Nothing is more gorgeous than a mountain lake! These Blue Ridge mountains are 1500 ft' to 4000 ft' (mostly forestry that high) so we get four mild seasons. Definitely a goldilocks area!

The cost of living is inexpensive, low property taxes and insurance (except flood, those have all gone up, but our elevation certificates help those fees). My region covers both states Georgia and North Carolina. I stay mainly in the mountain ranges of Blairsville, Young Harris and Hiawassee, GA and Hayesville, NC. But, I will wonder outside of those lines if you have specific desires that we can only find in - Blue Ridge, GA or Murphy, NC.
