Hello, I’m Maryna.

I’m a primary teacher. I live in Kyiv, Ukraine. Since 2014, I have been working as a Leader of Primary school Division. I have about 24 years of pedagogical experience.

My mission is to inspire people to be kind. I want that every child feel happy and successful at school. Children are not preparing for life. They live. The teacher should create a modern educational environment where everyone will be interested and each child will feel safe.

While I have been working with children, I noticed that they are very fond of communicating and discussing the life surrounding them. I am sure that teacher supports and understand is very important for parents too.

In March 2017, I participated in the EduFuture's Benchmarking Course and studied the peculiarities of Finnish education at Helsinki Schools. I like integrated learning and a friendly atmosphere in Finnish schools.

The Educational Consultant Kenneth Wesson asked: “If it's your job to develop the mind, shouldn't you know how the brain works?” For me, as a teacher, it is important to know how the child's brain works. Last year I have been studying Neuroscience, Neurokinesiology, Blomberg Therapy with Rhythmic Movements.

Besides, I am into the Ukrainian Project “Teachers Are Important!” as a professional development teacher’s trainer and the author of the on-line course for the teachers of primary school, Ukraine. The Ministry of Science and Education support the Course and its on-line platform.

I am a fan of education and innovation. You can read my blog with a click on the button above.
