Hello! I'm Mary Offiong, the Head Teacher and Administrative Officer at Dyslexia Help Learning Academy. In addition to these roles, I also serve as the Training Coordinator for our three-month Dyslexia Intensive Certificate Course.
Coaching individuals with Dyslexia is a passion for me. Seeing them being able to read through evidence-based research strategies they have learnt is mind-blowing!
As a dedicated Dyslexia Coach, I’m passionate about raising awareness and providing support for individuals with dyslexia. I also have a keen interest in Product Design and am always eager to acquire innovative knowledge.
As a passionate agent of change, I have volunteered for the Dyslexia Project 500 Phase 1 (September to December 2024) to create Dyslexia Awareness. Through the passion of the volunteers, we achieved the following across Primary Schools in Africa:48 volunteers, 282 schools visited, and 16,197 kids impacted!. Wow! What an achievement!!As I wear many hats, I am also the Project Administrator of Dyslexia Project 500, which. The second phase has started. Our goal is still to create Dyslexia Awareness across 500 primary schools across Africa.
Dyslexia Help Africa and Late Starters Educational Foundation collaborate together to reach children in primary schools across Africa. They need to know what Dyslexia is and how to support their peers with Dyslexia. This is massive.
I am so excited about this project: Dyslexia Project 500.
