Ratliff has won awards for both filmmaking and screenwriting. Her films "Good Game," a feature length documentary about professional gaming and "Catching Up," a narrative short inspired by real events are currently available.

She also recently launched "Introductions Necessary," a daily podcast that focuses on biographies of women in STEM fields and celebrating their contributions to science and technology.

As an active member of the D.C. film community, She has also worked on several features, a webseries, and numerous short films as a member of the art department and a script supervisor.

Ratliff earned an MFA in Film and Electronic Media at American University and a BA from Hollins University with a major in Film and Photography and a minor in Art History.
