Maryrose Simpson

I am currently working along side a team of creative people, in a new start up "Surf Merchant DigitalI" my role here is a design artist. I am enjoying playing around with creating a strong, impactful brand identity and looking forward to projects to come.

I graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design and now hold a degree in Visual Communications. Within the course I have experience with print, branding, typography, photography, motion and web design.

Limerick School of Art and Design hold an annual exhibition for the graduating students to showcase their work. Each year the college holds a in-house competition to design the branding of the exhibition. My designs were chosen as the winning design. I designed the catalogues, posters, invites, and vinyl designs for the event. I also created twitter and facebook accounts to achieve a strong online presence. The preparation, attention to detail and time management has thought me a great deal with a live project and prepared me for the working world. This experience has been my biggest achievement to date.
