Mary Susan McConnell

Hi! I'm Mary Susan. I am a writer, educator, student, mom, wife, and an incredible tap dancer. Just kidding. Actually, I'm not kidding. I am really good. In my previous life I was a middle school teacher and loved it. In 2010 we adopted our unbelievably incredible baby girl from Ghana. Abi has Cerebral Palsy and other related diagnoses. I learn something new from her every day and I've become a passionate advocate for exceptional individuals. I'm currently working on my Doctorate in Special Education and enjoying every second. I love exploring the world through a good book, being out on our land, and sitting for hours on the screened-in-porch with a nice beverage and good friends. Cheers!
