Mary van Ogtrop

The gift of gab has followed Mary van Ogtrop from her native Delaware — whose motto, “Small Wonder," she has tried and failed to appropriate for herself — to Philadelphia — where she attended Haverford College and wrote/edited for Visit Philadelphia — to San Francisco — where she was an earthquake-freaked resident, MFA student, LivingSocial editor, and Rdio senior copywriter — and finally back to Philadelphia, which she considers home. She has had writing published in Grid Magazine, Cleaver Magazine, The Haverford Review, and elsewhere. Away from her desk, she loves to find new recipes, go camping, play lacrosse, and listen to Bruce Springsteen.
