Mary Vigliante Szydlowski was born in Albany, NY. She writes across several genres, under various pseudonyms. She's the author of 12 adult novels. Her SF/Fantasy titles include The Ark (1978), The Colony (1979), The Land (1979), Source of Evil (1980), and novella, The Hand of My Enemy (2014). She's also the author of horror novel/psychological thriller, Worship the Night (1982, 1985, & 2000 with an updated version published in 2016) and Dark Realm (2016), the tale of a dystopian world ruled by Satan.. In addition, she's the author of mainstream novel Silent Song, (1980 & 2000).
Under the pen name Mia Frances, she's the author of the gritty post-apocalyptic romance, TRIBES (2019); steamy romantic suspense novel, Little Girl Lost (2018) and the erotic romance, murder mystery thriller series IN HIS KEEPING: IN HIS KEEPING: TAKEN (2015), IN HIS KEEPING: BANISHED (2015), and IN HIS KEEPING: CLAIMED (2016)..
