I've spent my career at the place where learning gets interesting, where classrooms meet real-world relevance, and where good design actually changes how people grow.
I taught K–12 for 15 years (2nd through 8th grade — yes, all of them), then built a STE(A)M program from scratch: brand, curriculum, recruitment, the whole thing. I was especially intentional about making sure girls and students of color saw themselves as STEM people. The program stayed full, and that still makes me proud.
These days I'm a School Partnerships Manager at Youth Solutions, helping K-12 schools build actual career pathways for students. Before that: I led corporate L&D at National Geographic Learning, grad-level teaching at Michigan State's MAET program (go green!), and seven years leading Michigan's largest EdTech organization, including a turn as President.
I geek out over STE(A)M, design thinking, the psychology of engagement, and figuring out when emerging tech actually helps learning (and when it's just noise).
Always learning. Often traveling. Happy to connect.
