Masahiro Sato
Masahiro Sato has been working for Digital Hollywood University graduate school as a professor since 2009. He teaches how to innovate to education by using digital technology called "Effective Learning Lab". He also works as Director of the Collaborative Research Center at the University. Furthermore, he also owns a company called "grownavi" which offers human resource development services. He was born in Tokyo,Japan. He graduated from Kokugakuin University in Tokyo, Japan in 1991. After graduation, he worked for Nippon Telegram and Telephone Corp. (NTT) as a network system consultant from 1991 to 1998. In 1998, he left NTT and moved to an ISP(Internet Service Provider) company called livedoor Inc. as a manager of Corporate Strategy Division. In 2002, he joined Digital Hollywood Co., Ltd. as an executive officer of Corporate Planning Division and contributed to establishing a university as the first private company to do so in Japan. In 2004, he started grownavi and has been consulting about human resource training and e-learning system development for Japanese companies. Since 2009, he has became a professor of "Effective Learning Lab" at Digital Hollywood University graduate school. Also he is a mentor of "NTT docomo innovation village(incubation program for startups)" and network adviser for Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI). His hobbies are road biking and skiing. He participates in a bike race that covers 350km in three days every year. He also competed in Japan Corporate Ski teams Federation Championship during his NTT years.
