Is South Korea Safe to Visit?
Q. I've heard a lot about South Korea and what I'm going to do there but is it safe to visit? A. Yes, South Korea is very safe for families to visit. Super safe indeed.
Q. My partner and I are planning a holiday to South Korea and we wanted to know if there are any "minor" crimes that we could be facing while visiting. A. In general, North Korea does not have too much of a problem with foreigners (including tourists) but on some tourist hotspots, things can change dramatically. For example, I've been told that in South Korea, k-pop and other forms of pop entertainment are not as prevalent as they may be in the United States and some of the tourists that I spoke to mentioned that they were assaulted by mobs of locals while enjoying their music and seeing local celebrities.
Q. Is it easy to get around in South Korea? A. As the United Nations has noted, Seoul is pretty accessible and you should be able to take public transportation anywhere from central Seoul to the southern parts of Jeju Island. There might be a few buses and rail systems that run along the ferry lines to other parts of the country but you'll mostly be riding on taxis or locally operated buses. What Is The Best Month To Go To Korea?
What is the best month to go to Korea? Well, this is something that you need to think about before you go. There are many different months to consider here in the United States of America, and luckily we do not have to pick one and stick with it for an entire year. That being said, there are a few things that you need to keep in mind. One of them is the Korean calendar, which is a bit different than our own calendar. This is because the Korean calendar goes on for so many months, while ours only goes for about five.
The month of March is considered to be one of the best months to go to Korea. This is due to a couple reasons. First off, it is very rare for people from the United States to have any flu season, so this will give you plenty of time to recover from your colds. Secondly, this is the month when the New York Yankees plays against the Korean baseball team. Those things can really take a toll on your body.
