Mascha Muenzesheimer

My name is Mascha Muenzesheimer and I am a ‘third culture kid’ (someone who has grown up and lived in more countries and cultures than one and integrated them with my own to make a third culture). I am German by blood, Balinese at heart and in the end a soul of the world. I was born in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), grew up in Hong Kong and Bali (Indonesia) and have travelled all over the world. All of this has allowed me to watch, study and photograph people of many ethnicities who live vastly different lives. I moved to Nashville Tennessee to attend Nossi College of Art where I received my Associates Degree in Commercial Digital Photography.

As a freelance portrait photographer my work centers around natural light and exquisite locations. Whether you are a ‘strong and confident’ man, an ‘alluring and poised’ woman, a musician with your own style or a child lost in a world of your creation/imagination my work captures the essence of who you are in a still image. I choose to shoot in natural and available light at a location of your choice and allow these elements to draw the focus to you, the subject.

I offer portrait sessions on location or can cover your personal event, capturing the true candid moments of you and your family. Photography packages range from a ‘senior portrait’ to engagement pictures and anything in-between.

My current endeavour includes photographing all realms of the music world. That includes CD/Album packaging, promotional shots and coverage of live music concerts. Shooting recording sessions allows me to shoot the artist in some of their most creative moments.
