I'm an entrepreneur and investor, serving as Special Advisor to both True Ventures, the early-stage venture fund, and the publishing platform Medium.

I served as chief operating officer for VSCO, where I led the launch and growth of its membership business — one of the fastest-growing subscriptions in the world.

I started Typekit with friends in 2009. Adobe bought it in 2011. While at Adobe, I managed business operations for the launch of Creative Cloud.

I was the Chief Operating Officer Adaptive Path, a user experience firm (acquired by Capital One). At Adaptive Path, we made the analytics tool Measure Map, which we sold to Google.

I've put time, money, and love into companies like Medium, Blue Bottle, Lumi, About.me, and Matilda.

I’ve worked with smart people in all kinds of settings, like the Salt Lake Olympics, The White House, Lincoln Center Theater, Blogger and Twitter.
