My name is Mason, and like everyone else, life continues to change more and more every day. But even with the changes, my love for college football stays the same. Yes, I am a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, as I have been my entire life, but I am a bigger fan of the game. There is no other game that flows the way a college football game does, nor is there any sport that experiences so much diversity while playing the same game. From the spread offenses, out west to the hard-nosed defenses of the southeast no two teams every play the same way. As I watch different inner conference games every week brings such a unique experience. The offseason brings me almost as much joy of the regular season. There is some special feeling about hearing one the nation’s top high school athletes commit to your school. The fun doesn’t just stop with getting them. Watching the once inexperienced young freshman develop into the veterans coming back for one last run at the national title their senior season is another thing that makes this so special. To succeed, a program must outwork other schools to get the best talent but also to develop them into the best possible. Do not even get me started on the passion. College football players bring their best every week; they always play their hearts out to show they are the best player as well as the best team. It is important they do this to make a name for their selves. This is their audition to a life of fame and fortune in the NFL. It is their chance to prove their game is the real deal. It brings such a high intensity to each game. It almost levels the playing field and is what I feel allows for the great upset that creates so much controversy in determining the best teams. I could ramble on and on about this game, my favorite thing in the world, but I may miss the next big recruit jumping on board for the class of 2018 or the bell ringing after a bulldog win! You know where you can find me every Saturday from September through January. GO DAWGS!
