Lisa Mata

With over 11 years of teaching experience, Lisa is a passionate 4th grade teacher. She's an avid supporter of building her school community through extracurricular activities including GATE, Math Olympiads and Student Council. She works hard at augmenting and integrating technology across the curriculum, while helping her students navigate the complexities of building respectful digital citizenry. In addition to growing her own students' knowledge and use of web-based tools, she's presented on the use of various digital storytelling tools to teachers in her school district. She's also presented at the Santa Clara County Reading Council and, soon, at CUE.
