Matthew Barstead

Matthew Barstead is a doctoral student in Human Development at the University of Maryland, where he also works as a research assistant at the Center for Children, Relationships, & Culture. He earned his Master’s in Experimental Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. Matt has over 12 years of summer camp experience, working as a counselor, unit leader, and program director. He is the author of several articles about summer camp and has published research in peer-reviewed academic journals.
