Hello! I'm Mathapelo Mokoena, an aspiring educator based in Johannesburg. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education (Senior & FET Phase), specializing in Life Orientation and ICT, at the University of Johannesburg. This qualification builds on my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Development Studies.
My professional journey reflects a passion for education, communication and technology. Through my teaching experience, I have developed strong classroom management, lesson planning, and learner engagement skills. I also hold a Reuters Journalism Certificate, which strengthened my abilities in professional writing, research and information gathering. As a future ICT educator, I am passionate about using technology to create engaging learning experiences and empower young people with the digital skills they need to succeed.
Beyond my studies, I actively participate in community engagement initiatives and hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate, reflecting my commitment to inclusive education and lifelong learning. I aspire to embrace innovation and make a meaningful contribution to the future of education.
