Matheus H. Marques is a lawyer and legal specialist. He also serves as an administrative professional and is the Secretary-General of the International Relations Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association – Pernambuco Chapter (OAB-PE). With a professional background that includes an internship at the Central Bank of Brazil and legal roles within various companies, he possesses extensive experience in both legal and administrative fields, having worked for prominent law firms and corporations. He currently works as a corporate lawyer, consultant, legal assistant, and legal analyst. As an academic researcher, he has published articles in the fields of Digital Law and Civil Liability, and has worked in areas such as Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF), Banking Law, Intellectual Property, and International Law. He is an enthusiast of the National Financial System and emerging technologies. He holds certifications in AML/CTF and possesses a strong combination of practical and academic qualifications.
Recently, Matheus was selected for a professional development program in law firm management (administrative focus) in Augsburg, Bavaria (Germany). The program, funded by the Goethe-Institut, was conducted at the vocational school BS4 (Berufsschule Augsburg) and the Kolping Akademie Augsburg.
