Mathew Ohle

inspector general, Inflight Refueling, and Student in Guam

Hafa Adai from Guam,
My name is Mathew Ohle. I am a father of two and have been married for 14 years. I am currently enjoying the warmth and sunshine in Guam. I am the Installation Inspector General Superintendent, responsible for the well-being of over 6,000 military, civilian, and joint partners in the region. My job entails coordinating and conducting investigations and inspections across cross-functional domains to identify fraud, waste, and abusive practices.
By trade, I am an Inflight Refueling Specialist and a Career Enlisted Aviator with over 1,500 hours in the KC-135 Stratotanker. I conduct aerial refueling, cargo, and aeromedical evacuation missions in support of global operations.
My prior experiences include being an Aircraft Maintenance Craftsman and several leadership positions at the Squadron, Group, and Wing levels.
I was raised in Alaska, which gave me my affinity for the outdoors. I spend most weekends hiking and climbing waterfalls.
After my military career, I would like to pursue a career in education.
